Battlefield 2142 Login Problem
When i did it wouldn't let me login because it couldn't connect. Can't login to battlefield 2142. But this is the only solution to the Offline problem that me.

After spending a complete afternoon trying to get BF2142 back running today, I thought I'd share what I have learnt today:
As you all know, GameSpy support has been shut down for Battlefield 2142 - so there is no master Server to contact, even the base login doesn't work any more in BF2142. I’ve spent some time looking for some options on getting BF2142 to run post GameSpy shutdown.
Login problem
Battlefield 2142 Servers
Login problem: If you’ve done a fresh install of BF2142, you can’t even play the game in single player mode any more, because you can’t log at the BF2142 launch screen.
1. Only Singlplayer Fix
This is the simplest way to get BF2142 back running again if you only want to play SP: Disable your internet connection. This causes BF2142 recognize the absence of the master server and offers to create a offline account, which you can use to play BF2142 in single player. After you’re done playing, just re-enable your internet connection.
2. Dethklok clan modified exe/fix
The guys form DETHKLOK clan have created a fix that is available here: http://dethklokclan.enjin.com/forum/m/1411244/viewthread/17844803-bf2142-alpha - they have a server running that in the evenings has about 10 players. Unlocks and ranks are supported with the DETHKLOK master server. Currently the best option IMHO.
2. NovGames.ru modified exe/fix
The Russian gaming community NovGames has created a modified BF2142.exe that fixes the GameSpy master server log-in. With the modified exe BF2142 connects to the NovGames master server instead of the now offline GameSpy master server. You have to create a new account through the In-Game interface and you are good to go. There are currently only two servers, both hosted in Europe - but during European daytime there are about 20-40 players online. 3. GameRanger
If you want to play BF2142 multiplayer, as far as I know for now, there is currently only one option: GameRagner. Go to the http://www.gameranger.com and Download the client. Create a GameRanger account and select a BF2142 server to play from the server list (there are currently 2-4 BF2142 servers on GameRanger). BF2142 is then launched right from the GameRagner client and connects to the selected server.
3.1 GameRanger widescreen fix
As you may know, you can add additional options to BF2142 via flags you can add to the BF2142 shortcut (e.g. like “+widescreen 1”), see http://www.tweakguides.com/BF2142_9.html for more infos. Because GameRanger starts the BF2142 directly from the BF2142.exe, you can’t use these helpful commands. To fix this, download the https://www.dropbox.com/s/of16tp8odh5zhbm/caller.exe (source code: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20773952/run-a-exe-file-with-a-parameter-by-default). Put it in your BF2142 directory. Rename your BF2142 to another name (like BF2142_org.exe) and rename the caller.ext to BF2142.exe. Then create a command.txt file in the BF2142 folder (where you put caller.exe) and add the following line: “BF2142_org.exe”. Now you can add any flags to this file which you normally would have added in the shortcut!
