Whenever I download the Road to Fame mod on my PC it never works. I haven’t tried on my mac but I’ve downloaded all of the files and unpacked it. It still doesn’t work. I have this same struggle with other mods like Lilsimsie’s premade Sims 4 worlds and I can’t understand why it happens. This mod adds a rabbit hole K-pop career for your sims. Your sims can choose from becoming a K-pop group member or K-pop star. This career has 8 levels total! Make sure if you are using road to fame with this mod that you create a profile on simstagram. You will not HAVE to use the road to fame menu unless you want bec.

    Make sure you unpack the ENTIRE mod. I found folders that had stuff in them, but that put the stuff two levels deep, which means it won't work.

    Go into your Documents folder. Check in your Mods folder to make sure none of the Road to Fame folders are deeper than the one level. When I first installed it, I clicked on Mods, clicked on Road to Fame and found folders, which made the stuff two and three levels deep. Everything must be one level deep. As in, you click on the Mods folder and everything is just right there. If you find you've got folders full of stuff from Road to Fame deeper than that first level, drag said folders to your desktop and unpack them. From there, drag the individual items into your Mods folder. See if that helps.

  • I've got the updated version for Jungle, too, and yes, I'm getting lastexception files, but I just delete those.

    Yes, I think you just have to click resume. Check out his page, all of his mods work well with the patch. Also, I went ahead and removed the older version of RTF_Professional Singing Career and downloaded it again. I'm pleased to say that there is now more of a selection for a Sim to sing on the karaoke/mic unit he created for this profession. The higher up my Sim goes, the more songs are unlocked. He's already almost at level 4 of the Professional Singer career. Which is good. He was a Global Superstar when I downloaded the patch and he lost all but 1 song released and most of his Hit Beat points. He needs 100/100 in order for concerts to book. Had to roll back several saves to find one where my Sim hadn't recorded anything. Long road back.
