Okay, so I have the SKSE version of Skyrim. Whenever I open the Skyrim (SKSE) icon, skyrim opens and everything seems fine. The bethesda logo appears, but right after the bethesda logo fades away, the game crashes. This doesn't happen on the Steam version. I'm 9999/10000 sure that I've downloaded SKSE right, but I can't be sure and I'm a bit frustrated. This topic is now archived and is closed to further replies. Game Crash After Bethesda Logo. Hi everyone, recently I've started playing Skyrim again with the intent of actually finishing a proper playthrough. I managed to play for quite a while with no problems, but, today, my Skyrim failed me and has started crashing after the Bethesda logo. I know this is a common issue cause by mods but it persists even after I disable every single one in NMM, so I assume the damage is permanent. Does anyone have any idea what this could have been caused by?

Only things that I have tried so far are running LOOT (which told me that 'ScopedBows_EagleEyeTweak.esp' is not compatible with 'Ordinator - Perks of Skyrim.esp', however I had no problems playing with these two plugins at the same time before all of this.) and disabling all of my mods (which doesn't fix the issue)

Edit: ended up finding a solution, follow these steps if you have the same problem:

  1. Turn off your wi-fi or disable your internet connection (use google if you don't know how)

  2. Open up Skyrim and load up your save.

  3. Now you can turn your wifi back on or enable your internet (the best way to do this after you disabled it is to use troubleshooting!)

I've recently completed a fresh install of Skyrim, however after installing the most current versions of Realvision and the ENB binaries the game has started crashing straight after the Bethesda Gaming Studios Logo.

I've tried disabling all my mods - even the official DLC - and it continues to do this either way. I've also tried changing between the Wrapper and Injector versions of ENB.

I checked the Papyrus log and all I got from it was the following:

Skyrim Crashes After Bethesda Logo No Mods Download

In terms of my rig I'm running a GTX970 and I'm running version 353.54 of the Nvidia Drivers. Anyone know what's causing this issue and how I might resolve it? I've searched around and haven't found anything helpful on the issue.
