  1. A Mount & Blade Warband modifications, set in Middle-Earth during the Third age, around the War of the Ring. The mod is set up in 'ivanhoe-style', which means lots of cool units, heroes, mercenaries etc. Join whatever faction you want, let blood be spilled without limits, and defeat your enemies with the strenght of your arms and the might of.
  2. Trading goods is a great way to make money in Mount & Blade: Warband. In this post, you learn example price ranges and thresholds (to buy under X, to sell over Y) for the most profitable goods. You also learn an example trade route that goes around all Calradia in Warband.

With a renown at 200 and an army of 60 (low tier) I managed to convince Arwa the Pearled One that I was the man for the job. I had no idea she would join the army, I thought it'd be more like a vassal to the king scenario.

My question is: What the hell do I do now? I have no land, cities, castles or anything. I have no rep with the lords of Sarranid. My 'army' is basically still in the war equivalent of nursing school.

Tips?

UPDATE (after ~100 days): What I now realize I should have done:

Mount And Blade Warband Abandon Claimant Meaning

  • Start the game questing in the region that I want to take over in the name of the claimant (For Arwa the Pearled one: Sarranid, for example). This way I would have friends there and at least a chance at some support from within when taking the claimant quest.

  • Not join the faction I start in (Rhodoks in my case), because the betrayal of that king will make it harder to cooperate with them when the time comes for the claimant quest. Better to have never been a vassal.

  • More Charisma -> more persuasion and leadership.

  • Get the big army before Terminal punto de venta. grabbing the claimant quest.

  • Fight lords of the faction you want to take, not villages or caravans which can lead to lower morale and loss of companions. Picking the lords off (if you can't convert them) is where it's at.

  • Give lords time to think about their decision to convert if you get the feeling that they're even slightly reluctant (as NoWeCant said in the comments, they will not talk to you again (for some considerable time at least, according to Malagas below)).
